MOC (Microsoft Official Curriculum) Training Courses

As a Microsoft Partner, Nexus Open Systems offer the complete range of MOC (Microsoft Official Curriculum) courses. These courses are always delivered by an MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer). Most of the Microsoft Official Curriculum courses are designed to meet the MCP (Microsoft Certified  Professional) accreditations, which includes MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer). MOC courses are also available to end users for desktop productivity applications such as Microsoft Word or Excel.

Nexus has forged a partnership with QA (www.qa.com), the UK’s leading provider of IT training, to deliver public training courses from its Exeter centre. Our online training schedule includes courses for all major technology vendors.

Authorised VMware Training

As a VMware Enterprise Partner, Nexus is the only authorised partner able to deliver certified courses in Exeter. This includes courses that are prerequisites to becoming a VMware Certified Professional.

Prometric Authorised Testing Centre

Nexus is pleased to be accredited as an Authorised Prometric Testing Centre (APTC) dedicated to the delivery of certification tests for professionals in information technology. This includes test delivery services for Prometric’s 100 partners including Microsoft, Novell, Sun, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Apple, CompTIA, Oracle and Citrix. This is a highly significant achievement for Nexus, enabling customers to benefit from a complete training solution. Nexus is one of the only Prometric testing centres in the region, so customers can now avoid costly and time-consuming travel arrangements.

Pearson VUE Test Centre

Nexus Open Systems is an Accredited Pearson VUE Test Centre. Pearson VUE provides a full suite of services from test development to data management, and delivers exams through the world’s most comprehensive and secure network of test centres in 165 countries. The numerous IT exams covered by Pearson VUE include Cisco, CompTIA and VMware.

Vendor-Independent Courses - Unbiased Knowledge

Vendor-independent courses are suitable when you want to mix subjects or technologies in a private or tailored course. These courses are structured around vendor-specific courseware in terms of topic and content but are developed with an independent and unbiased approach.

Smaller Class Sizes - Quality not Quantity

Nexus Open Systems believe in delivering quality training. To maximise the learning experience for each delegate, Nexus classrooms facilitate a maximum of 12 delegates. This means greater interaction with the course instructor and more individual attention is available to each delegate

Training Methodology with Hands-on Learning

We follow a simple learning process consisting of Preparation, Presentation, Participation and Verification. The instructor prepares delegates for what they are about to learn. The instructor presents each module of the course and the delegates participate using the courseware and training equipment. By the engagement of practical learning sessions, delegates' skills are verified by the instructor.

Delegates each have use of an individual desk and fully adjustable chair to meet health and safety requirements.
