Nexus has a flexible approach to IT training and can accommodate candidates at all skill levels. Our training course options allow you to pick the right type of course and enable you to select a location, date and training style.
Scheduled (Open) Courses
Nexus has forged a partnership with QA (www.qa.com), the UK’s leading provider of IT training, to deliver public training courses from its Exeter centre.
These courses are open to anyone and are a great way to train indivisiduals or a small group of delegates who are looking to build on their existing skills. The itinerary and practical exercises follow industry-standard courseware and each delegate receives certification for attending the course.
We publish our training schedule quarterly in advance and it contains many of our most popular IT training courses as well as a number of specialist courses. Take a look at our current schedule to see if an open course is suitable for your needs.
Private (Closed) and Tailored Training
Private or closed training courses can be delivered at our IT Training Suite, at your premises or at other pre-agreed locations. They are available to organisations that have several employees who need training at the same time, or wish to focus the training on a customised itinerary. Tailored courses can be delivered to target the key topics that are of most importance to your business, with less attention paid to areas where skills are already present or non-essential.
Course modules can be extracted from various standard open course manuals and if necessary can be written to meet specific requirements.

Onsite Training

The majority of our IT Training courses can also be delivered at your premises or at a suitable location of your choice. Onsite courses are beneficial if your organisation has several people that require training or if it requires the use of in-house systems. It also reduces the cost of the course and eliminates travel and subsistence costs. Onsite training courses can be delivered in standard, tailored or bespoke formats.
Certification and Exams
Some of the training courses we supply are completed by taking a certification exam. Nexus is an Authorised Prometric and Pearson VUE Test Centre, which means that you can arrange to take your exam at our training centre in Exeter.
