The Nexus Team Expands for 2006

Nexus Open Systems and Nexus Open Software are pleased to welcome four new employees to the team in December. The new positions have been created to meet customer demand and to ensure we maintain our high levels of service.

Tom Carver - Project Manager
Nexus is delighted to welcome back Tom who has recently rejoined the company after gaining valuable sales experience working for two large multinational companies.  Tom joins the sales team as a technical pre-sales consultant and brings with him a great deal of experience. He has an in-depth knowledge of telecom systems and holds Microsoft MCSE qualifications.  As well as assisting the sales team with technical pre-sales support, Tom will have specific responsibility for project management.  Tom will monitor quality control and the smooth transition of all customer orders, from receipt to delivery and sign-off.

Bruce McDonald - Purchasing and Logistics
Bruce has recently relocated to Exeter from Kingsbridge where he fulfilled his role in technical administration for a major marine services company in Dartmouth. He liaised closely with the Ministry of Defence Police on various projects and has experience in production management, scheduling, pricing and transport management. Bruce is a university graduate who joins our Administration team in Purchasing and Logistics. His natural professionalism and enthusiasm will enhance our ability to provide a great service while focusing on our commitment for exceptional customer care.

Dominic Shaw - Software Development
Dominic has a BSc in Computer Science from Exeter University, specialising in software development, which he completed with a dissertation in Microsoft Web Application Development. Since graduation in July 2004 Dominic has gained solid commercial experience working on projects of varied sizes, from financial auditing to online shopping systems. Having now completed his move away from his home in Cheshire, Dominic has settled into a new house not far from Exeter City Centre.

Martin Wallace - Sales & Marketing Consultant
Originally from Leicester, Martin graduated in July 2004 from Exeter University with BA (Hons) in Business Economics. Following one and a half years work experience in the IT industry. Martin has joined Nexus to further develop and apply his skills in sales and marketing. Martin has a very keen personal interest in computing and sees himself progressing his skills and career working with the Nexus team to promote ICT products and services to new customers.
