New Microsoft Competencies & Small Business Specialist
Nexus continues to excel and gain recognition for its work as a
Microsoft Gold Certified Partner deploying business solutions based on Microsoft software. Following the recent completion of the Microsoft ‘
Information Worker' competency, Nexus has now been awarded the
‘Mobility Solutions' competency in recognition of its work implementing mobile computing strategies for a variety of businesses and organisations.
Mike Nicholas, Technical Services Director at Nexus comments, "The availability of high speed data connections to mobile devices is changing the way that organisations communicate and access information. Microsoft's mobility solutions enable office based business tools to be extended to mobile devices. This not only allows employees to work more effectively away from the office but can also reduce the requirement to travel and therefore reduce costs and impact on the environment".
The award of this fourth Microsoft competency demonstrates Nexus's commitment to Microsoft business solutions. Nexus intend to further build its technical base and complete a number of other strategic Microsoft competencies ahead of the launch of new Microsoft products in 2007, including Vista, Longhorn and Office 2007.
To further demonstrate Nexus Open Systems commitment to providing an enterprise strength service to each and every client, the company has recently been awarded the Microsoft Small Business Specialist accreditation.
