New faces at Nexus
Nexus Open Systems and Nexus Open Software are pleased to welcome seven new faces to the team.
During the last six months both Nexus companies have experienced rapid growth and job positions have been created to ensure high service level standards are maintained. (From left to right).
Paul Bartlett
Technical Author - Nexus Open Software
Paul joins Nexus from a print and media background. He has written for a number of technology related magazines and authored several books. His new role focuses on technical documentation and software product help systems. In addition Paul works with the software design and quality testing teams.
James Dixon
Sales & Marketing Manager - Nexus Open Systems
James has over 13 years of ICT related account management and pre-sales experience with companies such as Telewest and RGP Computers. He has helped organisations of all sizes understand and define their computing and telecommunication requirements by producing creative technical strategies to solve business problems.
James Bennett
Software Developer - Nexus Open Software
James has worked in the IT industry for over ten years for organisations such as Vodafone and Plymouth University. He has years of experience designing and developing Web based business applications and has a broad understanding of computer hardware integration and configuration.

Andy Hollis
Software Developer - Nexus Open Software
Andy has been a software engineer for over 14 years. His previous job roles have provided him with experience designing and developing software for a wide spectrum of industries. Andy has worked on many interesting ICT projects ranging from safety critical systems, encryption, GSM network management and workflow applications.

Simon Hook-Tolfree
Software Developer - Nexus Open Software
Simon is a multi skilled software developer with over 20 years experience. He has worked with numerous different companies from small businesses to multi-national corporations including IBM, Microsoft, Esso, Shell, Siemens Nixdorf and Hutchison 3G.

Laura Brown
Technical Coordinator - Nexus Open Systems
Laura joins Nexus from an IT helpdesk and technical support background. She has experience helping large organisations monitor and maintain ICT support service levels. Her immediate responsibilities include the management of the Nexus Technical Helpdesk and co-ordination of all Nexus Open Systems engineering activities.
Chris Chandler
Pre-Sales Executive - Nexus Open Systems
After completing college and achieving key ICT and business qualifications, Chris originally joined Nexus as a Junior Technician. After carrying out his role for over 8 months, Chris has been moved to the Nexus Open Systems technical pre-sales team where his keen aptitude and awareness of technology is being utilised. His new role is to provide Nexus clients with account management services preparing quotations and proposals.
