FREE Recycling Service from Nexus and HP

Nexus has worked with HP as a Preferred Partner for many years and both companies are committed to "Green IT". To emphasise this point Nexus is now offering a new FREE recycling service to its existing customers. If your organisation doesn't yet recycle its printing consumables then we want your used HP LaserJet toner and Inkjet cartridges!
How can I get involved?
Simply select one of the options below to arrange for this service and you can have peace of mind that the items will be returned to HP for recycling.
- Give your empty HP toner or inkjet cartridge to Nexus personnel while they are at your premises.
- Bring your empty HP toner or inkjet cartridge to the Nexus offices in Exeter.
Note: This recycling service is provided by HP and is completely traceable with full regulatory compliance.
How will this recycling service help the planet?
Conserve resources
- External packaging for HP LaserJet cartridges now uses 30% recycled material.
- HP Transparencies now use 45% recycled material.
- Monochrome HP LaserJet cartridges now average 32% fewer parts and 55% fewer plastic resins.
- Monochrome HP LaserJet cartridges now have an 80% higher yield.
HP Use more environmentally sound materials and processes
- NO ozone-depleting substances are used in any products or packaging.
- NO elemental chlorine is used in manufacture of external packaging for HP LaserJet cartridges.
HP Products are easier to recycle
- 203 million pounds (92 million kilograms) of HP print cartridge material were recycled by January 2005.
- Many types of HP paper and card stock can now be recycled like normal office paper.
- Fully recyclable product packaging is used in many regions.
- Plastic parts of 25 grams or more are now marked to aid sorting.
