The Riviera Housing Trust is a not-for-profit social landlord based in Paignton. Its properties are spread throughout Torbay, in the towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Nexus has worked on a number of ICT based projects over the last five years with Riviera Housing Trust.

The latest project undertaken by Nexus, involved supporting the Trust through the upgrade of some of its core network operating systems. The project was a good example of how the technical teams at Nexus can combine skills to provide a complete solution.

The project involved three stages including a Microsoft Exchange 2000 upgrade to Exchange 2007, a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 upgrade to SQL 2005 and the deployment of a new Citrix server farm. New servers were installed and configured specifically for Citrix, which included deployment of Citrix Presentation Server 4.5, Citrix Web Interface and Citrix Access Management Console (for increased security and accessibility). Web access was also secured by Nexus using SSL certificates.
