When Key Organics needed to migrate their network to a Microsoft Windows and Exchange Server 2003 environment, they decided to invest in the expertise provided by a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner to ensure that they were getting the best consultancy advice. Nexus Open Systems, strategically placed in the South West and with 10 years experience and an impressive client list, were selected as the preferred Microsoft partner.
Key Organics asked Nexus Open Systems Ltd to complete an IT project plan that would see the current computing environment upgraded to the latest operating system (on new hardware) and running the latest business productivity messaging system. This required that all servers be upgraded to Microsoft Windows Server 2003, with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
The project also included the installation of three new servers. One providing file and print services, one hosting Microsoft Exchange and the third hosting a database application.
Nexus provided consultancy services to plan, oversee and ratify the whole project, with a Nexus Senior Systems Engineer working closely with Key Organics at all stages.
