Overview
Goodridge wished to upgrade its Wide Area Network (WAN) to secure a resilient Virtual Private Network (VPN) linking each of its sites.
Solution
Goodridge is an Exeter-based business that has recently celebrated 35 years of trading and is the world's leading supplier of hoses and fittings to the automotive and racing industries. The company's brake lines and flexible hoses have been tested and proven in the most demanding environments including Formula 1 and NASCAR.
The network upgrade project included:
- Nexus engineers provided consultancy to design a secure and resilient WAN infrastructure to link each of the Goodridge sites around the globe.
- Designed an implementation project plan that would ensure that the new infrastructure could be rolled out with the minimum of disruption to the business.
- Nexus created a test environment which enabled all of the network hardware to be pre-configured and fully tested before shipping to various sites around the world.
- The project was a great success and Goodridge now has a new, highly secure VPN based Wide Area Network.
