Overview
Ameropa commissioned Nexus to upgrade and support their ICT infrastructure.
Solution
Ameropa is a privately owned, international grain and fertiliser trader whose UK operation is based in Exeter.
Nexus worked closely with Ameropa personnel to create an ICT infrastructure upgrade project that would support the businesses plans for the future. The project included the following key elements:
- Review of the existing ICT infrastructure
- Active Directory design and implementation
- Deployment of a Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 R2 server infrastructure
- Implementation and configuration of Exchange 2003 with remote email access
- Configuration of secure remote access via VPN connections
- Installation of antivirus and antispam software
- Ongoing support services through Nexus Telephone Helpdesk and Retained Technical Services (RTS)
